Julep Valentine's Day Mystery Box

sooo, I just wanted to make a REALLY quick post about Julep's most recent mystery box for Valentine's day. my first foray into Julep's mystery boxes was the New Year's mystery box and that one was REALLY good, so I went ahead and got this one too because well, why not? I love valentine's day and Julep gave me a good mystery box last time. so I was expecting it to be about the same quality. but honestly, it wasn't. not even close. I got 5 polishes and a lip gloss(I effing hate lip gloss. you don't even know) and in the other mystery box I got 4 polishes, a top coat, a glitter product, a full size lotion-y type product, and some packets of stuff. so when comparing the two: the v-day one really sucks. hard. so I don't think I'll be buying another mystery box from them unless they GUARANTEE some cool A.F. stuff. seriously. even their Feb. maven box was better than the mystery box. it makes me quite sad. I hope they somehow see my sadness and promise to make their next one better. cuz till then. it ain't happenin' :/

Maybelline Baby Lips!!

ok. so. I'm in love with baby lips. I have all of them available in the US and I've held off doing a review until I finally got the last two yesterday FOREVER AGO BUT BLOGGER WOULDN'T LET ME UPLOAD PHOTOS :( . so the ones that were able to complete my collection are Yummy Plummy and Melon Mania. I really hope that Maybelline releases the color adjusting ones that they have in other countries. that would be amazing!!!! so. I use Baby Lips when I want color on my lips, but not too much, I'm not a bold lip kinda girl. I play around with colors when I'm at home, but I would never leave the house in it. I especially like Grape Vine for the winter, it gives a sheer purple/wine color, it wonderful. When I want to draw more attention to my eyes(because my lips are already deep in color theyre a hot pink/red/mauve color) I put on Peach Kiss for a "nude" lip color, and its got shimmer in it so I don't look like my lips are dead. :)

so, today in the mail I got lots O' goodies!! but the most exciting thing was my Julep mystery box, Julep is a subscription service you take a style profile, and get matched with different nail polishes, and often times, you get other little "pamper me" products. if youre interested, http://www.julep.com/ theres the link, you can explore, sign up, do whatever you want! :D and thats not a referral link, so I don't get anything from you signing up or anything. :) so now, on to the contents!

I received a 10ml sample from my 2012 Influenster Cosmo VoxBox!!! and let me tell you! I love it!!!! my boyfriend likes it (but come on, he's a guy, who doesn't like a lot of smells...he didn't even like to be in the B&BW store for too long..) so, let me tell you WHY I love it, because at first it reminds me of apples, and I love the smell of apples(I know it doesn't have apple notes in it, but hey, my nose smells what it wants :D) and the smell that lasts the rest of the few hours it lasts? VANILLA!!! and I love sweet smells. so this perfume is just perfect!!! want prices???

Pricey, I know, but, it smells really good! I will probably buy the fine fragrance mist because I don't think I've ever paid that much for a perfume....well, once, but it also came with a scrub and lotion...

better yet, I'll ask for it for Christmas!! (<-----which is a hint, in case my boyfriend manages to come across my blog ;p and since he's a guy.... SWEETIE! CLICK HERE!! it looks like that, babe)

Influenster Cosmo VoxBox 2012

 

COSMO VOXBOX 2012 from Influenster! :D

I got my Cosmo VoxBox yesterday! heres my video that I posted on youtube when I first got it!

 

here, I'll review the individual products!

1. Ghirardelli Sea Salt Escape chocolate bar- $2.79  this chocolate bar was the yummiest thing ever. it was salty and sweet and it had roasted almonds in EVERY bite! it was perfect. :D

2. Bath and Body Works Forever Red-$10.00 for a 7ml/.25 fl oz. sample, this is a really nice smelling perfume! its more like a body spray because it doesn't last very long, but TO ME(bbw got onto me on twitter, telling me what it ACTUALLY smells like -_-) but, to me, it smells at first like apples, then pears and flowers, and finally, vanilla. bath and body works, however, says "It's a passionate blend of pomegranate & red osmanthus! Plus, a sexy surprise of vanilla rum!" (<--that's what they replied to me on twitter when I said it smelled nice and followed with what it smelled like to me...) anywho. it smells lovely, doesn't last long though, it disappeared within 30 minutes.

3.Pilot FriXion pens-$3.00(2 pens in box) nothing really to say, theyre two pens that are erasable by rubbing it off with a soft plastic eraser. its a cool concept. and the pens have really cool detailing on them.

4.Gilette Venus Embrace razor- idk, around $9.00? its a reusable razor, you buy new shave heads, it comes with one on it, it doesn't have the soapy gel stuff on it already, so you have to use shaving cream/gel. I'm out of razors/refills so, that was a wonderful surprise :)

5. Gilette Venus & Olay razor refill- around $3.00, its a refill for the razor when the blades get dull, that was really cool for them to include. I use the Venus Spa Breeze refills, so its nice to try something new.

I really like this box, I'm really excited to do all the requirements and HOPEFULLY** be eligible for more!!
